A look back at the France Alumni Romania Gala - 3rd edition of Alumni Day

On May 26, 2025, the France Alumni Romania community gathered in Bucharest for the France Alumni Gala, organized as part of the 3rd edition of Alumni Day. Hosted at Orange Romania headquarters, the event brought together nearly 100 participants - alumni trained in France, representatives of partner universities, companies, institutions and associations - in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

A high point for sharing and valuing career paths

The evening was an opportunity to highlight the inspiring careers of Romanian alumni, strengthen synergies between the various players in the network, and present the actions carried out within the France Alumni Romania program.

Highlights include:

• Opening speeches by H.E. Nicolas Warnery, French Ambassador to Romania, and Julien Ducarroz, CEO of Orange Romania;

• The appointment of France Alumni 2025 ambassadors, Eduard Laurentiu Nitu and Matei-Radu Dumitrescu ;

• Business France Romania's presentation of the V.I.E. program ;

• Highlighting the France Alumni platform, the work of the France Alumni Romania group, and the initiatives of the alumni present;

• Contributions from the following associations: Collège juridique franco-roumain d'études européennes, Sciences Po Alumni Roumanie, and HEC Alumni Roumanie.

Closing with music and conviviality

The Gala closed with a musical performance by students from Bucharest's George Enescu National College of Music, followed by a convivial cocktail party to encourage exchanges and the creation of new synergies.
